Boris Johnson (PM, UK) has announced last night that by setting off new national restrictions for England, similar to the March 2020 lockdown however the housing market will remain open during the new lockdown in England.

Government advice on home moving during the coronavirus remains unchanged. Consequently, people in England will be able to move and removal firms, tradespeople, and estate agents can still operate by going inside homes. Adherence to safety and social distancing remains crucial. While giving access to the property, or coming for viewings on the property the guideline given below must be followed i.e. PPE, Social Distancing, letting fresh air in, and wearing a face coverings at ALL times!   

‘’ It seems that the government is yet looking at a broader picture and showing trust on estate agents and their activities which plays a major role in the UK economy, especially a billions of pounds transaction are currently in process to get completed by 31ST March 2021 and so known as exemption & reduced rates of Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) will be ending ‘’.
