Northwood is an area in the North-west of Greater London, located within London Borough. The hamlet of Northwood grew up along the north side of Rickmansworth – Pinner. Rickmansworth is a small town in the south-west, Hertfordshire, the administrative sear of the Three Rivers District Council and home to the prestigious Moor Park Golf Club. Rickmansworth is approximately 17 miles of central London and inside the perimeter of the M25 Motorway, and the nearest large town connects is Watford. Diesel – express trains from Marylebone Station, via Harrow on the hill to Aylesbury are known as fast trains, even electric trains run Metropolitan trains from London – via Baker Street to Amersham with a stop at Rickmansworth. Travel to Heathrow, the UK’s largest airport, takes less than 20 minutes.

A number of good schools, Northwood Secondary school and sixth form, Rickmansworth Park JMI School, Shepherds Primary School, St. John's Catholic Primary School, St. Mary's C of E Primary School, Rickmansworth School, St. Clement Danes School, St Joan of Arc Catholic School; which means that the area mean it is the ideal location to raise a family, as well as being ideal for those who wish to commute into London or require easy airport access. Being a wealthy suburban town it also has natural beauty; hence it’s in high demand.
